ABOUT

Suzanne is known for her authentic, non-judgmental teaching style and self-healing philosophy. Suzanne incorporates meditation in each class, applying eastern wisdom to our contemporary western world in a useful and understandable way. She encourages growth of the physical and spiritual self, offering the appreciation of our connections to each other and to the world and to the universe at large.

Yoga is about balance – between strength and flexibility, exertion and release, mind and body – the yin and the yang.  Suzanne’s vinyasa classes combine strength, mobility and breathwork in a dynamic style. Suzanne’s yin classes offer an opportunity to find surrender and stillness while challenging the body, to better prepare us for the stresses of everyday life.  Suzanne’s classes combine creative sequencing with inspiring music.

Availing herself of continuous education from various disciplines, Suzanne strives to help her clients through yoga, meditation, reiki, plant medicine and other healing modalities. She encourages students to slow down, breathe and be patient and understanding with themselves. She offers guidance to facilitate proper alignment, conscious breath work and body awareness.

Suzanne’s favorite yoga pose is anything upside down, as it provides a different perspective on the world. Suzanne is a full-time environmental lawyer and when she’s not working, practicing yoga or traveling, you can find her playing with her dogs, rock climbing, or paddle boarding.
